The National Convention 2024 is set to take place from October 9-11, 2024, bringing together men from across the nation for a time of spiritual growth, brotherhood, and renewal. Hosted by the PGCAG National Men’s Ministry Department, the convention will focus on empowering men to embrace their God-given roles in their homes, churches, and communities. With the theme “Ibalik ang Bagsik Ngayon Na” (Restore the Strength), this event is all about rekindling the fire and responsibility of being a man of faith in today’s world.

Day 1 – October 9 (Wednesday): Opening Night

The first day of the convention sets the tone for the entire event. After a day of registration and free time, the Opening Night begins at 7:00 PM with the theme “Ibalik ang Bagsik Ngayon Na!”. The night kicks off with praise and worship, uniting all the men in prayer and song.

Rev. Roger Makiling, Visayas Regional Director, will offer the welcome remarks, followed by an inspiring message from Rev. Reynaldo Calusay, PGCAG General Superintendent. His message, “LIVE, LOVE, LEAD”, will challenge and encourage men to live fully, love deeply, and lead courageously, not just in their homes but in every area of their lives. The night will close with a powerful prayer led by Rev. Alex Simeon, Luzon Regional Director.

Day 2 – October 10 (Thursday): Embracing the Call of Manhood

Day two will start bright and early with breakfast and preparations before the morning session at 9:00 AM. This day is centered around what it means to be a man, specifically in the context of faith and God’s purpose.

Rev. Enrico Val Cacnio, National Men’s Director, will lead the morning session with the topic “Ang Kahigitan ng Lalaki” (The Greatness of Man). He will emphasize the importance of men rising to fulfill their biblical roles in their families, churches, and society.

Following this, Rev. Eduardo Gallano, Assistant National Men’s Director, will continue with “GO PA RIN sa gawain ng Diyos” (Keep Going in God’s Work), inspiring men to remain steadfast in their faith and service despite the challenges they may face.

The afternoon provides a well-deserved break with beach time and fun games led by Ptr. Glenn Cornelio and his team. This is an opportunity for the men to connect, relax, and enjoy fellowship with one another in a more laid-back setting.

The evening program will feature Rev. Enrico Val Cacnio once again, this time addressing the topic “Ang Nakaka-alarmang Mga Katotohanan Sa Ating Panahon” (The Alarming Truths of Our Time), offering a biblical perspective on the pressing issues men face today and how they can respond with faith and courage.

Day 3 – October 11 (Friday): Courage and Commitment

The final day of the convention is all about stepping into courageous leadership and commitment. Rev. Alex Ong, STDC Men’s Director, will deliver a powerful message titled “Matapang ka ba? Tamang pagharap sa buhay ni Joshua” (Are You Brave? Facing Life Like Joshua). Drawing from the story of Joshua, Rev. Ong will call on the men to lead with bravery and conviction, especially in challenging times.

After the message, there will be a regional presentation and a special prayer of commitment, as attendees pledge to take what they’ve learned back to their families and communities. The event will close with a photo shoot, recognition of the organizing committees, and a final lunch before everyone heads home – spiritually renewed and ready to face the future as stronger men of God.

Conclusion

The National Convention 2024 is not just a gathering – it’s a transformative experience for men to rediscover their strength, purpose, and faith. From powerful sessions to moments of fun and fellowship, this three-day event is all about empowering men to live out their God-given roles in every aspect of their lives.
